Being human, it’s one thing to be green, but it’s a whole other level to be the world’s greenest city! Copenhagen is currently ‘that’ city. Topped with the opportunity to ski down the roof of a green-energy power station. They have solar-powered boats and you’re able to swim in a clean & safe busy urban harbor. While you’re staying there, you can live in an eco-friendly hotel and dine on vegan food on nearly every street!

All of the people there, businesses and all, contribute to keeping this city the greenest it can be! Going green is a challenge, and these people have structured an entire city to function with Earth and themselves in mind. That’s a lot of love and a lot of work!
Copenhill is their main attraction feature. This man-made, architecturally designed, bedrock strong mountain is actually their waste-to-energy powerplant. Their power comes from their own waste! It makes enough to power tens of thousands of businesses and homes each and every day. They literally don’t waste anything.

On top of that, Copenhill has a constant year-round ski slope. You can hike up it and you can even climb up the walls!

The town seems to have more than its fair share with parks and green areas, and a 70-acre nature preserve is being developed in the North Harbor industrial area. Much of this region, and Refshaleøen across the entrance of the harbor, has been regenerated with sustainable design, like grass roofs that trap rainwater as well as insolate buildings.
